Bjørn V. Nystrand, Aker Exploraqtion A/S: He has a MSc in Petroleum engineering from the University of Stavanger. He has been with Aker since January 2008, and currently holds a position as Senior Petrophysicist. Prior to joining Aker he had 5 years with A/S Norske Shell, mainly working on the Ormen Lange project, 5 years with Enterprise Oil, reservoir engineer with NPD and field engineer with Maritime Well Service.

Beate Heggen, Hydro as: Cand. Scient in Geology from University of Bergen, with quaternary geology as her specialisation. Worked offshore for Baker Hughes Inteq from 1997 to 2002 in various fields in the North Sea. Currently works as Petrophysicist in the Oseberg Sør team.

(metal forming/cold and hot rolling, data modelling), 2 years at

1988 in oil industry (Statoil) as petrophysicist, covering single and
multiwell evaluations, various field studies, core and log data
acquisition planning and operations, production logging operations and
evaluations, special reservoir quality studies.

geologist and wireline engineer joined Sperry-Sun in 1981. Currently

Arve Thorsen, Baker Hughes Inteq Norway, B. Sc. in Geology and Geophysics. He has worked with Inteq in several positions since 1987 including consultant wellsite geologist and reservoir navigation specialist. The work also included petrophysical evaluation of reservoirs and general LWD log interpretation. Currently working as business development manager in formation evaluation.
